Post-Workout Whey Pancakes with Quinoa

No oats for your pancakes for once. This time we are going to try out these fluffy and tasty whey pancakes with quinoa. 

Ingredients for 3 pancakes

  • 225g of cooked quinoa
  • 3 scoops of lean unflavoured whey protein
  • 1 1/2 soup spoon of flax seeds
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 spoon of baking powder (optional)
  • 1/4 spoon of cinnamon tea
  • coconut oil
  • 1 handful of walnuts
  • agave syrop


  1. Blend all the ingredients until you obtain a creamy mixture
  2. Smear a skillet / frying pan with coconut oil, and pour a bit of the mixture
  3. As the pancake starts bubbling, flip it, and cook until both sides are golden, and the pancakes inflate to 1 cm. 
  4. Eat while they are warm, with walnuts and agave syrup
